Jolien Peeters

Jolien is a third Bachelor student Communications Sciences. One of her core interests is to see the impact social media has on shaping our society. This is what drove her to join Bonding Beyond Borders - she wants to fight extremism and hate via an online campaign and show that it is possible to shape society for good through media. Currently she is studying for a semester in Ireland.

After graduating from the Master program of European Studies at KU Leuven, she started working at the Centre of Global Governance. Soon she will head towards NATO to gain more hands-on experience on one of her greatest passions, safety and security in the international order.
